Gail Christiansen leads strategic operations, compliance and finance functions for the Center for Prevention. She oversees and implements resources and systems to ensure that operations needs are met, as well as develops and implements policies and procedures both in finance and general operational realms.
Gail brings over 20 years of combined experience in operations, finance, compliance, and contract/grant management. She has worked in variety of settings including higher education, government, for-profit, and non-profit organizations. Gail’s expertise is in building the operations and finance functions/framework from the ground-up and translating the strategic goals into the specific operational objectives needed to achieve the goals. Gail drew upon this skill 12 years ago when she provided leadership for building the infrastructure for the Center’s inaugural funding initiative for community projects.
Gail graduated from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management with a B.S. degree in business and completed additional coursework at the University to earn a Certificate in Accounting. (Go gophers!)
If Gail is not flying off on vacation/or travelling, you will find her at home in her garden.
